Welcome To The World

With sweat beading my body I can now relax…
but now that it is over I am too keyed up to relax.
There you are in my arms as we feel the warm heat…
Not heat from the sun but heat from lights standing over us.

I feel an emotional heat too…
There you are a miracle cradled in my arms.
The agony of crashing waves of pain over…
while joy licks through my body dulling the after-pain.

Contentedly you suck my breasts…
your first nourishment in the outside world.
It is over now we can rest…
Welcome to the world my little one!
